NexMetals Mining Corp. (TSXV: NEXM) (NASDAQ: NEXM) announced assay results from its resampling program at the Selkirk Mine in Botswana, revealing significant mineralization. The results include 180.8 metres of 1.31% CuEq from drill hole DSLK-211, indicating a strong potential for the project. The company has engaged NH IR Advisory Corp to assist with investor relations as it moves forward with its exploration efforts. The assay highlights also include 101.00 metres of 0.85% CuEq from DSLK-25-012 and 94.20 metres of 0.96% CuEq from DSLK076. The results are expected to contribute to an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) anticipated in Q2 2026. The company emphasizes the importance of these results in capturing previously unassayed intervals for platinum group elements (PGEs), which are projected to significantly enhance the deposit's net smelter return value. CEO Sean Whiteford expressed optimism about the ongoing drilling and resampling program, highlighting the potential for new exploration targets based on the high-grade mineralization encountered.
