The first phase involved comprehensive requirements discovery, system architecture design, and detailed project planning for the Grandpride Luxury Travel Smart AI E-Hailing, Car Rental, and Subscription System. The project is designed to cater to high-value leisure travelers and corporate clients seeking premium digital mobility experiences in major urban and tourism markets in Malaysia.
The $4 million software development agreement includes approximately $1.6 million allocated for licensing and custom software development, alongside $2.4 million for multi-year services such as hosting, maintenance, and analytics. This partnership with Sagtec is expected to yield significant revenue for Kinetic Seas, as they are entitled to 30% of the revenues generated from the Grandpride mobility platform deliveries.
Edward Honour, CEO and Chairman of Kinetic Seas, expressed optimism about the partnership, stating, "With Phase one completed ahead of schedule, we are seeing our partnership with Sagtec deliver exactly what it was designed to do—transform complex AI programs involving multiple stakeholders into structured, executable delivery plans. Grandpride demonstrates how the Skilliks platform can help accelerate the deployment of next-generation mobility platforms in rapidly growing digital markets such as Malaysia and the broader ASEAN region."
As the project progresses into development and deployment phases, the Skilliks platform is expected to play a central role in project coordination and delivery optimization. The collaboration between Kinetic Seas and Sagtec highlights the growing demand for AI-driven platforms in Southeast Asia, where enterprise spending on AI and analytics is projected to grow at double-digit rates as businesses modernize their transportation, commerce, and services infrastructure.
