On March 27, 2026, Jay Jacobs was appointed to the Board of Directors of iShares Delaware Trust Sponsor LLC, the sponsor of the iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF. This appointment was made by BlackRock Asset Management International Inc., which is the member of the Sponsor. In addition to his role on the board, Mr. Jacobs has also been appointed as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Sponsor. Mr. Jacobs brings a wealth of experience to this position, having served as the U.S. Head of Equity ETFs at BlackRock since April 2025. In this capacity, he has overseen the product strategy, thought leadership, and client engagement for BlackRock's U.S. index and active equity ETF business. His previous experience includes founding and leading the research and strategy team at Global X ETFs and working as a business analyst at the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Jacobs holds a BA in International Studies from Emory University and an MBA from Columbia Business School, and he is a CFA charterholder. Alongside this appointment, Shannon Ghia has resigned as a Director and as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Sponsor. It is noted that Ms. Ghia's resignation was not due to any disputes or disagreements regarding the Trust's operations, policies, or practices. This leadership change is expected to positively impact the strategic direction of the Trust, given Mr. Jacobs' extensive background in the ETF sector.
