On March 24, 2026, HyOrc Corporation announced that it has entered into a Binding Project Development and Technology Agreement with OnEnergy GreenPower EAD and On Energy EOOD, both based in Bulgaria. This agreement marks a significant step for HyOrc as it establishes a framework for collaboration in developing a waste-to-methanol facility utilizing Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) as feedstock.

The project is designed to process approximately 50,000 tonnes of RDF annually, operating around 330 days per year, with an expected daily throughput of 150 to 155 tonnes of RDF. Under the terms of the agreement, HyOrc will serve as the technology partner for Stage 3 of the project, which involves the thermochemical conversion of RDF into green methanol. This initiative aligns with the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions and positions HyOrc as a key player in the renewable energy sector.

HyOrc's responsibilities include developing and providing the technical basis and process design for the facility, as well as leading the preparation of technical components for potential submission to the European Union Innovation Fund. The agreement also outlines provisions for the exclusivity of HyOrc's technology for this project, ensuring that the company maintains a critical role in the project's development and execution.

The collaboration with OnEnergy Group is expected to enhance HyOrc's operational execution and strategic outlook, potentially leading to increased revenue streams and market presence in the renewable energy sector. The agreement is seen as a positive development for HyOrc, reflecting its commitment to innovative energy solutions and sustainability.
