Bridger Aerospace Group Holdings, Inc. has announced the appointment of Justin Mogford as its new General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, effective April 2026. This decision follows the resignation of James Muchmore, who has served as Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President since 2016. Mogford brings over a decade of experience in corporate law, having previously worked at Bristow Group Inc., where he played a significant role in various strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. The transition agreement for Muchmore includes a lump sum payment of $212,500, COBRA continuation coverage for up to 12 months, and the acceleration of 108,893 unvested restricted stock units. This leadership change is expected to strengthen Bridger's legal and governance functions as the company continues to scale its operations in the aerial firefighting sector.
