On March 24, 2026, BARK, Inc. announced that Zahir Ibrahim, the Chief Financial Officer, will step down from his position and separate from the company effective April 17, 2026. The decision was mutual and not due to any disagreements with the company's auditors or management regarding accounting practices or internal controls. In connection with his departure, Mr. Ibrahim will receive severance payments and benefits as outlined in his Severance and Change in Control Agreement, contingent upon his execution of the standard separation and release agreement. Following Mr. Ibrahim's departure, Brian Dostie, who has been with the company since May 2023 as Vice President, Accounting and Controller, will take over as Interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Dostie brings extensive experience from his previous roles, including serving as Interim CFO at 80 Acres Urban Agriculture, Inc. and over 20 years at National Instruments Corporation. BARK, Inc. will initiate a search for a permanent CFO with the help of an external search firm. This leadership change may impact the company's financial strategy and operational execution as it transitions to new leadership in the finance department.
